Studio for kdb+ and Java 1.6
Friday, June 15th, 2007Some folks have indicated that the current version (1.88) of Studio for kdb+ does not work with java 1.6
The best option at the moment is to download the zipped jar file of studio, and unzip it (using folder names). You should get a studio.jar file and a subdir called lib that contains a number of jar files. Double clicking on studio.jar should start the application.
I’ve got a new version coming up with a bunch of exiting new features and bug fixes - I’ve been working on it for several months. This will work with 1.6 but is not ready for public release yet. More details later.
