The Slog

Over the last few weeks I’ve been training a group of about 10 people in the evenings in Munich on kdb+; despite some of the evenings being some of the hottest this year, and that everybody involved, including myself, has been doing their usual day job too, it has been very successful. The participants were extremely motivated, all had a good background in Market Data/Reuters feeds, and various levels of programming abilities - some very advanced. The company that hosted the venue was well organised with a conference room, beamer, internet access and refreshments. It was nice to see jaws dropping again at the sight of how easy kdb+ makes data manipulation!
